Things that are safe :
1. Barefeet on splinters of wood.
2. Standing next to a tower of cut up, sharp pieces of lumber that are one and a half times taller than you.
3. Making sure you’re toes are exposed and vulnerable when close to unsheathed axes.

This is at a lake off of Highway 60 inside Algonquin Park. It was so long ago I don’t remember where exactly but I just love the expression on Matt’s face!
Just so you know, I’m not cruel, I DO remember he wasn’t actually sad, it was just one of his many memorable poses.

Cool Milk

Becky’s latest science experiment with her school-agers in an after school program.
It’s milk, with food colouring and dish soap. The dish soap eats away the fat in the milk which creates motion, which is visible because of the food colouring.
