Darkroom - Days 3-4
Posted on February 25, 2009

Here’s a picture with some more framing done and the sink’s supports nearly finished. I’m going to Brafasco today to try and find a replacement o-ring for the sink and hopefully we’ll keep moving forward!

Digital to Darkroom
Posted on February 24, 2009
For the past two years I’ve had a complete darkroom siting in multiple basements in many pieces. This past weekend we decided to finally begin the process of installing it into the new house. Now that Canon has decided not to release a new digital SLR camera this PMA, why not make a return to film! We started on a Thursday night and this picture is from Sunday with about half the framing, plumbing, and electrical roughed in. We have since made a great deal of progress and the project is nearing completion (will post more pictures soon). There is a setback unfortunately due to a leaky temperature control on the sink, which will require a rebuild of the mechanism but hopefully that won’t take too long.

Guitar Time Lapse

My first attempt at a time lapse. The music cuts out abruptly at the end and the frames don’t flick by fast enough but it was my first attempt ever and it was fun!

Screenshot from the Obama GigaPanorama - look at all those cameras! There’s even more if you pan around the media platform in the centre of the panorama.

Its my camera in a box!

View from the Tram Hauss (Peak of the mountain) down to the first peak. Notice the glades in the foreground - people actually ski those!

Tram Ascent

The tram ascending at Jay Peak with the valley in the distance. As you can see Jay Peak is pretty much in the middle of nowhere in the Appalachians with no major cities within at least 100km.
